Age Requirements

18 years of age to rent. This refers to the agreement/contract for the rental – not the operation of the personal watercraft. The minimum operation age is 18 years old.

Legally, passengers can be any age; however, we recommend a minimum age of 6 years old to be a passenger.

In order to operate a jet ski, Florida law requires anyone who was born on or after Jan. 1, 1988, to have a photo ID and meet one of the following requirements: They have National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) Certification. They are riding with someone born before 1988. They are riding with someone who has a NASBLA Certification. Get your Jet Ski License Here.

Our locations can issue a temporary certification, valid for 1 year within the State of Florida, for a fee or you can do it ahead of time here take an online course, for free, and receive a permanent certification. If you intend to obtain the temporary certification, please arrive 30 minutes early. If you intend to do the online course, you will need ~3 hours.

Other Requirements

As long as you meet the age requirements listed above, you will only need a photo ID and a form of payment.

We recommend preparing like you are going to the beach. You will want to bring water, a bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses w/ a strap, and any protective clothing you want to wear (i.e., sun shirt). Some of these may be available for purchase on location.

Yes, a maximum of 3 participants are allowed per jet ski who cannot exceed a total combined weight of 450 lbs.

Guests cannot participate if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, are pregnant, have any existing medical conditions that puts them self or others at risk, or do not have a basic understanding of the English language.

Additional Fees & Security Deposit

Tax and service fees are not included in the advertised rates. Additionally, if you need the NASBLA certification, see "Do I need a permit or license" above, that is $3. If you choose to purchase any additional items or services, they will need to be paid for at the time of the rental or tour.

Some of our locations require a security deposit. This can range from $300 - $500 and can be left as cash or a credit / debit card hold.

Cash deposits are returned at the end of the rental or tour. Deposits put on a card are typically held, by the cardholder's bank, for 3-5 business days. If you use an international card, the funds may be held longer.

It doesn't happen often, but it is possible. You are responsible for returning all equipment in the same condition it was received. Following safety and operational instructions as well as using common sense will ensure a safe and fun experience without any deposit complications.

We are a booking agency in Miami that qualifies vendors who are properly licensed, insured, and trained. CONSUMER BE AWARE: If you are not familiar with the vendor in the area you choose, you might wind up with a jet ski company who is operating illegally. There are many companies who operate in the city without the proper safety training, insurance, licensing, maintenance, or USCG approved safe riding zones. Jet skis are not toys; they are high-speed watercraft that may cause serious bodily injury or even death to yourself or others around you. Picking a qualified vendor is what we do!
